Crèche outing to Spur
We wanted to take the crèche kids to the Spur for lunch as many of them never had the opportunity to go there before. We held a cake raffle to generate the needed funds. The kids had a blast playing on the jungle gym. Each of them received a party meal that consisted of a pizza, ice cream and cooldrink – something many of them would never have had without this opportunity.
The Dennebos outing
The women of the farm asked to have a relaxation day at a location away from the farm. We decided on the local pine forest resort in Ceres. We had a great day bathing in the sun and cooling down in the massive swimming pool. We ordered a chicken meal for each of them from the local Zebro’s for lunch.
Women’s morning outing
Women were treated by the Ceres Vallei congregation one morning. They had tea and cake and a guest speaker entertained them while spending some time as women of the community.
