Matjiesrivier Primer het onlangs deelgeneem aan n landloopbyeenkoms in die Paarl en een van die leerders, Jacquin de Wee, het goed presteer by die Boland landloop kampioenskappe en n sesde plek behaal. By die Wes-Kaap byeenkoms in George het hy n 12de plek behaal. VLNR: J.P. Franse (skoolhoof), Jacquin de Wee en L.T. Reitz (beampte en klasopvoeder).

Inauguration of the new administration building – 9’th of March 2022. A valuable contribution by Perdekraal Windfarm. The newly built administration building at Matjiesrivier NGK Primary school, ensures that classrooms can now be fully utilized for teaching which benefits the learners, and personal can perform administrative functions in the new facility.

HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
The school was started in 1942. The Matjiesrivier Primary School was established by a missionary and his wife. Its doors were open to anyone who wanted to attend. Mr Apollos was the first teacher. Dr Beets was involved with the school as well and provided a pedal organ. READ MORE
