ABOUT THE ISIQALO TRUST
Isiqalo functions within a rural community of farm workers and their families on two separate farms outside Ceres in the Western Cape. The Isiqalo project reaches a culturally–diverse group of people. It is compiled of approximately 60% African and 40% coloured people.
Isiqalo is involved in community development and is based on the principle of shared participation and equality. Peaceful co-existence without discrimination and stigmatisation are some of the pillars to create a value system that enhances human dignity. The community should thus actively participate in the progress of the Isiqalo Trust.

It is a development trust, of which the beneficiaries are farm workers and their families.
The programme is fully supported by the farming business and aims to include all the stakeholders. And so, we take an inclusive approach in all our work.
