Isiqalo reflect on positive and uplifting moments! A selection of popular and uplifting operatic music – Thank you Cape Town Opera! Two “pop-up” concerts were held as an expression of appreciation to the people of the Witzenberg-region. The area was recognized as one of the first hotspots in the Western Cape province. They were recognized for their efforts in curbing the spread of Covid-19 during the first outbreak, and as ‘frontline’ workers in the agricultural sector – for their efforts in sustaining food production throughout lockdown. The 35 minute programme was a selection of popular and uplifting operatic music, with individual introductions featuring members of Cape Town Opera’s award-winning chorus, sought after by opera houses around the world. Featuring: Cape Town Opera Chorus, under the direction of chorus master Marvin Kernelle.
Inauguration of the new administration building – 9’th of March 2022. A valuable contribution by Perdekraal Windfarm. The newly built administration building at Matjiesrivier NGK Primary school, ensures that classrooms can now be fully utilized for teaching which benefits the learners, and personal can perform administrative functions in the new facility.
Christmas party for Isiqalo’s children – sliding 2021 out!
The party was organized and supported by friends, family, and Normat Farms. The support we received made the day special for the children – with every contribution hugely appreciated!
The children enjoyed a range of activities, including water sliding, a jumping castle, playing Pinata, having fun and action!

The gifts were donated by Santa Shoebox – a project which provides gifts to underprivileged children across South Africa and Namibia every year – thank you for the contribution.
