As the winter season unfolds, we are delighted to bring you the latest updates from our Social Development Trust. We are excited to share strides of growth, moments that have touched our hearts, and the ongoing “beautification and healing of lives” that drive us forward.
Winter may bring a chill to the air, but it also brings a warmth that comes from generosity, and the spirit of giving.
Education and training:
On behalf of Isiqalo Development Trust, I would like to warmly congratulate you on achieving your first aid and forklift operator certificates. Your dedication and hard work have paid off, and we are extremely proud of each and every one of you.
This achievement is a testament to your perseverance and the important role you play in the community. By acquiring these new skills, you demonstrate not only your ability to learn and grow but also your contribution to the overall well-being and safety of everyone around you.
We look forward to seeing how you apply these new skills in practice.
Spiritual Development:
Supporting the community to engage in activities in the area that encourage spiritual development. We strive to create a culture where people can help themselves by focusing on family development, life-skills training, and spiritual enrichment.
Fellowship with music, dance, and poetry – thank you for every contribution and support.
“In the quiet of the morning, When the world is still and new, I find a path before me, Lit by a gentle, golden hue. For on this path of light and love, I’ve found my way, my home, A place where spirit blossoms, And I am never alone.”
On the threshold of a new season:
Our farm stands on the threshold of a new season, bringing with it the excitement of growth and new opportunities. All the best to our dedicated team leaders seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as seasonal workers. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive community dedicated to quality and sustainable farming practices.
Nature conservation:
Recycling is not just an environmentally responsible practice but also an economically and socially beneficial one. It conserves resources, saves energy, reduces pollution, and creates, and fosters community engagement. By adopting and promoting recycling, we contribute to a healthier planet and foster community engagement. Every small effort in recycling leads to significant positive impacts.
Classical Music Appreciation with Drama and Instrumental Play:
Combine classical music with storytelling. Play pieces that align with the narrative, allowing children to experience the emotions and themes of the story through music.
Encourage children to act out characters from stories or operas while classical music plays in the background. This helps them connect emotionally with the music and the story.
Hands-On Experience: Provide opportunities for children to try playing simple notes or rhythms on different percussion instruments. May this spark their interest and curiosity about music!
