WHAT WE DO: SPORT AND LEASURE

Providing support to local soccer and rugby teams by means of transport, kits and coaching; and

Supporting the community to engage in relaxation activities in the area.

SOCCER

We support the existing soccer teams and motivate healthy recreation.

The Isiqalo Trust identified soccer as one of the needs of the Xhosa-speaking people. These players practice regularly on week evenings after work and play in competitions that take place in the surrounding area.

The soccer offers proper exercise, socialising, decrease of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as great relaxation.

AJAX CAPE TOWN

The two Isiqalo soccer teams went to Cape Town for a visit to the Ajax soccer team, where they were taken to the fan room, watched a game and received two soccer kits. Ajax Cape Town believe in giving children the best possible facilities in which to grow and learn with the goal of becoming future world-class players. www.ajaxcapetown.co.za
