Providing financial support to farm choirs to assist with transport, clothing and coaching; and
Supporting the community in the attendance of music concerts.
INTRODUCTION TO CLASSICAL MUSIC THROUGH INSTRUMENTATION AND DRAMATISATION
The introduction to classical music through dramatisation and instrumentation is presented on a weekly basis at Matjiesrivier Primary School.
Children are exposed to composers and in this way, to the world.
The music bridges some of the needs of the children and communication can take place on a level that carries “eternal value”.
CHOIR GROUP
The Isiqalo Trust identified a choir group as one of the needs of the Xhosa-speaking people. Mona’s passion is to give the choir group exposure to different harmony and musical genres.
